Best Time to Visit
Weather along Thailand’s west coast is shaped by the tropical monsoon climate, resulting in two distinct seasons: the rainy season and the dry season.
The dry season lasts from November to April. This is the peak travel period, attracting guests from around the world who come to enjoy warm temperatures between 77°F and 90°F, gentle breezes, and clear blue skies.
May and June often bring stable weather as well – plenty of sunshine with occasional afternoon showers.
The rainy season typically runs from July through late October, bringing heavier rainfall, high humidity, and occasional thunderstorms. Winds arrive from the southwest, carrying moisture from the Andaman Sea. Days are generally cloudier and slightly shorter during this time.

Days 1–5 | Khao Lak
After your arrival at Phuket Airport, you will be greeted and driven across the Sarasin Bridge to the mainland. The route follows quiet beaches and small villages until you reach your selected hotel in Khao Lak. The next days are yours to explore the region at your own pace.
One of Khao Lak’s biggest highlights is its coastline of long, pristine beaches. These uncrowded stretches of sand offer a peaceful retreat far from busy resort areas.
For guests who prefer to explore inland, Khao Lak also has plenty to offer. A major attraction is Khao Sok National Park, located only a short drive away. This ancient rainforest is home to remarkable biodiversity and lush vegetation. Visitors can enjoy jungle hikes, canoe trips along calm rivers, and a deep connection with Thailand’s natural heritage.
Days 5–9 | Koh Yao Yai
You will be picked up at your resort and transferred by car and boat through the scenic Phang Nga Bay to Koh Yao, where you will be dropped off directly at your beachfront resort. The following days are ideal for relaxing, enjoying the remote bay, and taking time to unwind.
The Koh Yao archipelago is a hidden gem in the Andaman Sea. With untouched beaches, dense tropical greenery, and a strong sense of authenticity, it is an idyllic destination for a quiet and peaceful Thai experience.
Beyond the beaches, the islands feature jungle trails, swaying palm forests, and stunning viewpoints. Hike through the rainforest and enjoy panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and nearby islands. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot exotic birds, monkeys, and even monitor lizards.
On your final day, a transfer will take you back to Phuket Airport for your departure.
